Numerical Modelling of Heat Transfer in Engine Exhaust Manifolds

چکیده

The purpose of the paper is to study heat transfer in exhaust manifold a naturally aspirated diesel engine. work started from test engine D30 which was redesigned CATIA V5, then pre-processed Comsol Multiphysics. results post-processing phase have generated temperature, velocity, pressure, and Reynolds number fields were compared with experimental data dynamometric test. For higher accuracy, temperatures surfaces measured both IR Camera Imager thermocouples.
